Description

Looking for an enthusiastic person interested in working with young people aged 12-17. Volunteer role would include a 2-hour youth group every Saturday in Kilkenny City. The youth group consists of activities, games and workshops planned collaboratively with youth and youth leaders with occasional trips. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that will look good on a CV and aid your professional career. This role does not consist of hours outside of the group.

Necessary training (Approx one day) and garda vetting will be carried out.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

• Planning activities, games and workshops collaboratively with the youth and youth workers. 
• Getting to know the youths on their level.
• Helping provide a weekly safe environment for young people aged 12-17.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Saturday evenings from 4.30 to 6.30

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
