Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate volunteer to take charge of our WordPress website, focusing on development, design, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in web development and design, particularly with WordPress, and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. This role is essential in ensuring our website remains user-friendly, visually appealing, and up-to-date with the latest information and resources.

This role is entirely remote.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

- Website Development & Design:
  - Redesign and enhance the current website layout and functionality.
  - Implement new features and plugins to improve user experience.
  - Ensure the website is mobile-responsive and accessible.

- Content Management:
  - Update and manage website content, including pages with news and information.

- Technical Maintenance:
  - Perform regular website backups and updates.
  - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  - Monitor website performance and implement improvements for speed and efficiency.
 

Skills required for this role:

Simple HTML CSS and JS knowledge desirable.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Minimum 3 hours a week, flexible.

Minimum time commitment per week:
3 hour p/week
