Description

Do you have a couple of hours a week to spare to help a small menstrual education business to create videos to enhance the learning they bring to the world? If yes, then this opportunity is for you. Videoing and editing skills required, also uploading to different platforms too. The successful volunteer would be required to travel to Laois for video creation so access to public transport or a car is a must for filming day/days.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Filming and editing content for website and courses. 

Helping to upload the videos. 

Experience of websites and digital hosting platforms is bonus. 

Own equipment required eg laptop, phone, editing software etc 

Skills required for this role:

Video and editing skills 

Knowledge of digital hosting platforms 

Uploading video content to online digital platforms 

Good communication 

Ability to take direction and use own initiative 

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Flexible to suit both volunteer and organisation. Filming days and times to be decided on mutual availability. It may take 3-4 hours on filming day depending on content but these days will be kept to a minimum. Other communications can be continued via phone, video calls and emails.

Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week

Additional screening required for this role:
Letter of interest in the role and examples of relevant experience and skills. Online video interviews will be conducted once expressions of interest have been reviewed.
