Requirements:Volunteers must be over the age of 18.
University of Limerick Research Week 2025
Students will be involved in the setting up and running of Research Week 2025 during reading week.
This event will be taking place mainly within the KBS, ERB and the Foundation Building.
Events will take place from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, Apr 28th to May 2nd.
Student volunteers will be asked to volunteer at least 6 hours over the week.
This opportunity will help students develop their skills, broaden their volunteering portfolio whilst also offering the OVPR UL team a helping hand.
Volunteers will be stewarding events, involved in location setup and will be provided branded t-shirts with Research Week printed on the front/back so attendees can use them as a contact point.
Volunteers may be in charge of manning an information desk.
Flexible hours are available and this will be a fun and exciting environment to help promote UL and its Research activity.
Volunteers will not be involved in moving heavy items or anything that can cause injury.
All hours will contribute to towards the President's Volunteer Award (PVA).
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.
