Requirements:
We are seeking volunteer tutors to attend the AccessCampus on Roxboro Road and also on UL main campus every Tuesday evening for tuition in maths & science subjects particularly
We wish to recruit volunteer tutors for the coming academic year at the AccessCampus. The AccessCampus Study Club achieves 95% progression rates to higher/further education on average each year. This would not be possible without the commitment and contribution of volunteer tutors each year! Working with students from socio-economic disadvantaged backgrounds, the Study Club provides a range of academic, social, and personal development supports to club members. As a tutor you will be part of a dynamic team providing these supports to club members, primarily tuition in a subject(s) that you have studied yourself in school or are studying at university. Volunteering at the Study Club provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and develop you own academic and theoretical knowledge to enhance your own academic studies.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
