TrailblazHER™ is a community of people, organisations and enterprises with a shared commitment to advancing gender equality.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and further our cause to support and empower women with us.

Our volunteers will help out at TrailblazHER™ events throughout the year to promote our programme.

This is a great opportunity to work with the TrailblazHER™ team and gain invaluable experience in areas like marketing & communications, helping to design of our digital resources.

TrailblazHER™ supports women with the unique challenges they face as job seekers, job creators and leaders by delivering a range of experiences and supports for second and third level students, alumni, entrepreneurs and Irish businesses.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Tasks will include the following:

- Assemble gift bags, brochures or promotional materials for distribution 

- Prepare attendee badges, registration packets and other material

- Setting up rooms for the various events including booth/stalls, chairs, banners and other equipment

- Help decorate the venue with signage

- Greet attendees and check them in

- Provide information, directions and answer general questions .

Skills required for this role:

- Good communication and listening skills

- Teamwork - can work well with other volunteers 

- Flexibility - can adapt to different roles or tasks as needed

- Patient when dealing with questions or complaints in a calm manner

-  An understanding of the TrailblazHER™ programme and familiarity with the event's purpose

-  Have a positive attitude and maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Various events will be taking place on campus during the academic year 2024/2025. An example of some are listed below: 10th - 13th September - Orientation 23rd - 27th September - Freshers Week 14th November - Tallaght campus Open Day 21st November - Blanchardstown campus Open Day 7th December - Grangegorman Open Day December 2024 - Inspiring The Future Event

Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
