jumpAgrade are on the hunt for passionate, socially driven tutors to work with students for the 24/25 academic year. In case you've never heard of us before, we're a not-for-profit based in Limerick, who help Leaving Certificate students all over the country to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

We are recruiting trainee teachers who are passionate about equality and inclusivity in education, and who are interested in providing 1:1 online tuition at a time of their choosing.
We are currently recruiting trainee teachers to work with students for the 24/25 academic year. Our tutors work with students live online on a 1:1 basis. As you will be forming a mentoring relationship with your student, all volunteers must commit to working with their students for the full academic year, right up to the beginning of the Leaving Certificate in June 2025.

The Fine Print- Applicants are required to:
- Be currently enrolled in a teaching course in an Irish university
- Have completed a minimum of 1 school placement
-Have experience providing formative feedback to students, either in a group setting or on a 1:1 basis
- Be familiar with online teaching tools
- Have a strong familiarity with the Irish Leaving Certificate maths curriculum

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
All our tutors pick when they work with us. We welcome applications from 2-15 hours per week, from October 2024 to June 2025.
Students will be dependent on their tutors to be highly committed, professional and timely.
Tutors set their own availability and establish recurring meetings with their students. As our students are all in full time education, all tuition will take place in after school hours, between 4pm-8pm. Tutors can make time available on Saturday mornings if they wish, but this is not essential.
Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week

CV, minimum of 1 reference, proof of enrolment in your course and Garda Vetting.
