Description

We are appealing for your help with stewarding our 10km Walk/Run from 10.00 - 14.00 the latest.  Everyone is meeting at UL Sports Arena main Reception on Sunday 16th February 2025 at 10.00a.m.  Each person will be signed in as they arrive and a full briefing along with list of contact numbers and what to do and where you will be located will be provided.  

Once you are signed in at the Reception area of UL Sports Arena you will be directed to the indoor court area and you will meet with your Zone Leader and with all the volunteers within your Zone.  Refreshments will be provided in the UL Classroom (this will be shown to you by your Zone Leader) and then you will go to the zone assigned.

The funds raised, will help us to improve and expand the range of services available within our community so that we are better able to meet the needs of patients and families residing at home in our local communities.

Is training provided?: No

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Represent Milford on the day, look out for any trip hazzards, encourage participants on this challenge.  Call the numbers supplied if a participant needs help.  Direct participants if they get lost on the route. 

Skills required for this role:

Outgoing, encouraging, willingness to help if a person needs direction

Minimum time commitment per week:
3 hour p/week
