Description

This is for current and active members of the Limerick Area of the Irish Red Cross only to log their volunteer hours. Members can perform a variety of roles including:

• First Aid Instructor
• Unit Officer
• Fundraising
• Event Medical Cover
• Youth Work
• Social and Community Work
• Branch Administration

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Task are as defined by the individual's role in the Limerick Area of the Irish Red Cross.

Skills required for this role:

• Understanding of Red Cross Fundamental Principals

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Time commitment varies per role and Event. Examples include: Instructors: 1-2 hours a week. Unit Officers: 3 hours a week. Event Medical Crews: 3-10 hours depending on event, per event.

Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
