Requirements:Proficiency in Irish and/or foreign Languages
We seek volunteers to tutor in Irish & foreign languages at the AccessCampus Study Club.
We need tutors to work with Study Club members to prepare for Junior & Leaving Certificate written and oral examinations. We also need tutors to work with all members ranging from 1st year to 6th year. Transport will be provided to and from AccessCampus. We also provide induction and mentoring to our volunteers.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Tutor Study Club members in Irish and/or foreign languages at both Junior and Leaving Certificate level. Also act as mentors and role models to our members as they navigate the educational system and progress to higher education.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
The Study Club operates 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 9pm.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
