Requirements:
We work within the hospital environment to create activity-based programmes focused on improving the quality of life during treatment. The Hospital Outreach Programme continues to bring the happiness and fun of the camp’s summer programming to children living with a serious illness all year round.
We typically offer our Hospital Outreach Programme in CHI at Crumlin, CHI at Temple Street, Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, Cork University Hospital, Mercy University Hospital, Cork, and University College London Hospital.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
As a volunteer with HOP, you will work with the Outreach Team to facilitate programmes in various hospital settings including playrooms, bedsides, wards, and clinics. Our Recruitment Team will share information on the programme with you by email, and then our Outreach Team will meet you on the morning of the visit to go through the programme plan and provide any necessary training.
Skills required for this role:
Full training will be given at the hospital for this role.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Please get in touch with us to see our calendar as clinic days vary. Commitment would be from 1 day 8.30am-4pm to as many as you can commit to.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
