Applications open for the STAND Student Advisory Panel 2024-2025
Would you like to play a role in shaping STAND’s programmes, activities and impact? We are recruiting for our next STAND Student Advisory Panel. Our panel is made up of a diverse group students and graduates spanning different campuses, disciplines and levels of study.
Panellists meet every 4-6 weeks from October to May, for a 1.5hour meeting to inform and provide feedback on how STAND designs and delivers its programmes, including our campaigns, events, activities. Collectively our SAP ensures that our work is informed, inclusive, relevant and student-led.
In addition to helping to ensure that STAND’s programmes are relevant and student-led, panellists will gain personal and professional experience in being part of a consulting body, facilitating meetings and playing a direct role in shaping the work of a non-profit organisation.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a short briefing call during the first week of October to discuss motivations and expectations

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Panellists are expected to meet every 4 or 6 weeks to inform and provide feedback on how STAND designs and delivers its programmes, including our campaigns, events, activities. Collectively our SAP ensures that our work is informed, inclusive, relevant and student-led.

The panel meets every 4 to 6 weeks on Tuesday evenings for 1.5 hours. Meetings are held online and in our office on Upper Mount Street, Dublin 2 for those who would like to attend in person.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
