Requirements:A Health Research Institute Full or Affiliate member and member of the HRI PG/PD Hub Network.
The HRI postgraduate/postdoctoral (PG/PD) Hub is a member derived and driven platform that strives to provide a safe and accessible environment for HRI PG/PD members.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Attend and participate in bi-weekly HRI PG/PD Hub Committee Meetings.
Assist fellow committee members in the planning and facilitation of HRI PG/PD Hub Network events, these may be workshops/webinars/seminars or social events.
Liase between the HRI PG/PD Hub Committee and the HRI Executive Committee.
Assist in the creation and distribution of advertisement material for the HRI PG/PD Hub and its events.
Skills required for this role:
A Health Research Institute Full and/or affiliate member and member of the HRI PG/PD Hub Network.
Experience or desire to learn; planning and facilitating academic events/workshops/webinars/seminars and social events.
Good written and oral communication.
Good time management.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
One bi-weekly HRI PG/PD Committee Meeting (30-45 minutes, every second Tuesday).
One HRI PG/PD Hub Network event every 1-2 months.
Further commitment may be required for roles such as Chair and Deputy Chair which would require meetings with the HRI Executive committee (these are usually monthly).
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
Additional screening required for this role:
Yes, applicants will be screened to ensure that they are members of the Health Research Institute and the HRI PG/PD Hub Network.
You will meet either in person, online or over email with a current HRI PG/PD Hub Committee Member who will discuss with you the volunteer role and your relevant past experiences for the role and you will be asked to provide details about your PhD Program, such as: Faculty, Department, Year of PhD and Supervisors.
