As an Employment Hub volunteer you will be assisting Doras clients by providing 1-to-1 support and assistance, helping people to create their CVs and cover letters.
This is an excellent opportunity for volunteers who would like to make a difference to the employment gaps currently impacting people from under-served communities in Ireland, particularly those in the International Protection Programme and refugees.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
This role requires the volunteer to
*Assist individuals to create their CV and/or cover letter.
*Assess individuals educational and work background to create a targeted CV
*Provide moral support during the process
Skills required for this role:
*Good communication skills, patience and attention to detail.
*Previous experience with people from under-served communities or lived experience.
*Expertise or special skills in IT or personal guidance.
*Knowledge of the International Protection system in Irelancd.
*Have a language other than English, particularly French, Arabic, Farsi or Ukrainian.
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Tuesday morning / Thursday morning.
Minimum time commitment per week:
3 hour p/week
