Are you a marketing enthusiast eager to make a real difference? We are looking for passionate volunteers to join a team and support local small businesses in the Limerick Milk Market to reach their full potential! you will helping to promote local buisnesses who lack the skill set to navigate the rapidly changing digital landscape. in doing so you canhelp these buisnesses improve their online presence and reach a wider audience

What You’ll Do:

  • meet with local buisness people and collaborate to develop marketing ideas/plans
  • Create engaging content for social media, websites, and email campaigns
  • Assist with branding, design, and promotional strategies
  • Analyze results and adjust strategies to ensure success

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

  • Social Media Management:

    • Develop content calendars and schedule posts across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
    • Create and curate engaging content, including graphics, videos, and posts.
    • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with followers.
  • Content Creation:

    • Write blog posts, articles, and newsletters to promote the business.
    • Design marketing materials like flyers, brochures, and banners.
    • Develop copy for website pages, product descriptions, and landing pages.

Skills required for this role:

  • Content Creation:

    • Ability to write engaging and persuasive copy for blogs, social media, email, and websites.
    • Basic graphic design skills for creating visuals (using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Video editing and production skills for creating short promotional videos.
  • Social Media Management:

    • Proficiency in using platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
    • Knowledge of social media best practices, trends, and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
    • Ability to engage with audiences and foster online communities.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
The Milk Market is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday weekly.

Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
