Requirements: Current Student within the Department of Nursing and Midwifery
This opportunity is for current students of Department of Nursing and Midwifery to volunteer at the upcoming Open Days that are taking place on 17th and 18th of October 2024. The time commitment of this opportunity is four hours per day, 10am-2pm. This is the full duration of the volunteering opportunity on each day. Students are permitted to volunteer on both days, if they wish.
Students are expected to assist on the Department of Nursing and Midwifery stand on the day. Students may be requested to assist with lab tours. Further guidance will be given on the day
It is expected that students will be able to speak to their programmes in Department of Nursing and Midwifery and talk about the department and the university in a favourable light.
Students will be rewarded for their partcipation with a gift from UL Visitor Centre after the event. You will be notifed when this gift is available to collect.
Lunch will be provided on the day.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
The Volunteer will be expected to do the following:
Assist on the Department of Nursing and Midwifery stand for a minimum of four hours (Full duration of the day) on 17th and/or 18th of October 2024.
Students may be asked to assist with lab tours. Further guidance will be given on the day.
Students are expected to talk to the attendees at this event about nursing and midwifery programmes and University of Limerick in a favourable light.

Students are permitted to volunteer on both days if they wish.
Students are asked to arrive at 9:50 to be given a quick brief on what is expected of them on the day.
Minimum time commitment per week:
4 hour p/week

Current student membership to Department of Nursing and Midwifery will be verified. You must be a current student in The Department of Nursing and Midwifery, UL.
