Date Set For UL PVA Ceremony 2018!

We are delighted to announce that the 2018 PVA Awards will take place on Wednesday 19th of September. The awards, now in their 8th year, have become a prestigious event on UL’s yearly calendar. The President Volunteer Awards was established in 2010 to harness, acknowledge and support the contribution that students at UL make to their communities. The PVA draws on the strong tradition of student volunteering on and off campus. At the annual ceremony, the President of the University of Limerick presents his award to student volunteers, UL staff and volunteer organisations. There are five PVA categories; Bronze, Silver, Gold, Plassey (designed for visiting students studying in UL for one semester) and the Outstanding PVA.  UL is unique in Ireland in that it is the only HEI to record the awards on the student transcript.

The application deadline for entry to this year’s PVA is fast approaching and we are encouraging all students who volunteered to:

Go to studentvolunteer.ie and log their volunteer hours
Download and complete the Reflective Portfolio
Email it to pvaportfolio@ul.ie before May 31st
